A milestone that makes us particularly proud, not only because of the prestige of the award itself, but <\/span>because it confirms and rewards a path of design research that The.Artceram has been pursuing for years.<\/b><\/p>\n

In addition to Brooklyn, the volume “XXIX Compasso d’Oro”, distributed during the awards ceremony, <\/span>also features our The Dark Matter stand from the 2024 edition of Cersaie.<\/b><\/a>[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=”No Line”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]\n

Compasso d’Oro ADI: the most prestigious design award<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Established in 1954 on an idea by Gio Ponti and today promoted by ADI<\/b>, the Italian Association for Industrial Design, the Compasso d’Oro is the oldest and most authoritative design award in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Its historic collection has been declared a “national heritage of interest” by the Ministry of Culture<\/b> and is housed at the ADI Design Museum in Milan: a collection that tells, through its objects, the evolution of Italian design and its industrial culture.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https:\/\/youtube.com\/shorts\/iT4oXNy1XG4″ el_aspect=”43″ css=””][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Each edition of the award arises from a selection of the most significant projects published in the volumes of the ADI Design Index of the previous years. <\/span>Only those projects that have distinguished themselves for design quality, innovation, sustainability<\/b> and cultural value reach the final evaluation by the international jury, which assigns the Compasso d’Oro and the Honourable Mentions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brooklyn: an “award-winning” bridge between aesthetics and functionality<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]The Brooklyn collection, designed by Meneghello Paolelli studio, was included last October in the ADI Design Index 2025 selection,<\/span> thereby joining the shortlist of candidates for the Compasso d’Oro 2026.<\/b><\/p>\n

Today that journey concludes with the Honourable Mention.<\/span><\/p>\n

Brooklyn is a collection sitting halfway between a countertop washbasin and a console<\/b>, incorporating the features of both products.<\/span><\/p>\n

Its distinctive feature is a “band” integrated into the ceramic with the dual function of resting surface and potential support for the tap. <\/span>This element divides and connects the perimeter of the washbasin into two zones:<\/b> a wet zone (the basin itself) and a dry zone, a “pocket” that becomes a storage and support area for accessories.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][image_with_animation image_url=”11074″ image_size=”full” animation_type=”entrance” animation=”None” animation_movement_type=”transform_y” hover_animation=”none” alignment=”” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” image_loading=”default” max_width=”100%” max_width_mobile=”default”][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]A new language for the contemporary washbasin<\/b>, where aesthetics and practicality find an unprecedented balance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Completing the system <\/span>is the option to choose between wall-hung, countertop or dedicated-structure installation in turned Canaletto walnut wood<\/b>, alongside a customisable tap configuration.<\/span><\/p>\n

A synthesis of craftsmanship, industrial innovation and design culture<\/b> that today is recognised at the highest level.<\/span><\/p>\n
