A double recognition for The.Artceram design. The Brooklyn collection and the “Dark Matter” stand created for Cersaie 2024 have been selected for the ADI Design Index 2025.

ADI Design Index: the journey toward the Compasso d’Oro

The ADI Design Index is the annual selection that brings together the best Italian design products and projects, nominated for the Compasso d’Oro ADI Award, the most prestigious international recognition in the field. Each year, a committee of experts identifies the most outstanding examples of excellence distinguished by design quality, innovation, sustainability, and cultural value.

Being included in the ADI Design Index means becoming part of an archive that tells the story of contemporary Italian design, an important milestone for companies and designers who contribute to the ongoing evolution of design language.

Brooklyn: architectural essentiality

Designed by Meneghello Paolelli Studio, the Brooklyn collection interprets the contemporary bathroom through a clear and decisive architectural language. Strict lines, balanced proportions, and absolute formal purity make the Brooklyn washbasins an exercise in harmony between aesthetics and functionality.

The collection is distinguished by an integrated “band” in the ceramic, serving a dual purpose as both a support surface and a possible tap ledge. This element divides and connects the washbasin’s perimeter into two distinct areas: a wet zone (the basin itself) and a dry zone.

A design that feels “constructed” rather than merely drawn, reflecting The.Artceram’s vision of a product that is both technical and deeply expressive. With Brooklyn, the brand once again demonstrates its ability to combine craftsmanship, industrial innovation, and design culture.

The second selected project is The.Artceram’s stand presented at Cersaie 2024, also designed by Meneghello Paolelli Studio. A scenographic and immersive environment, capable of transforming the exhibition space into a three-dimensional narrative made of light, volumes, and perspectives.

Defined by textured surfaces and alternative materials, the stand embodied a key concept of the brand: design as a sensory experience. The installation engaged visitors through a balance of rigor and theatricality, where the product took center stage.

An award that celebrates The.Artceram’s research and design vision

The double selection in the ADI Design Index 2025 highlights the consistency of The.Artceram’s journey:  a brand that continues to experiment while enhancing the identity of the Civita Castellana ceramic district and fostering an ongoing dialogue with designers, architects, and creatives.

Comments Alberto Brunelli, CEO of The.Artceram:

“Receiving two recognitions in the ADI Design Index 2025 for the Brooklyn collection and the Dark Matter stand is a great source of satisfaction. It encourages us to keep pursuing an innovative and unconventional approach to design.”

Alberto Brunelli

A recognition that looks to the future, yet remains rooted in an unchanging principle: design as an expression of culture, research, and beauty.
